some people prefer to stay on land. never searching below the superficial surface. they look just long enough to find their own reflection, to turn your story into theirs, to make themselves the focus. now me, i want conversations that can only be found in the depths. i want to surround myself with souls that know true treasure doesn’t float on whatever the current trend is. it slips unseen into darker waters. it takes effort to find. i want hearts that understand the heaviness that weighs me down. minds that dive straight into the deep end and read the stories i’ve scrawled across the ocean floor. the poetry that anchors me. if you aren’t willing to sit with me in sandy secrets, then please don’t wade into my waters at all. – ashley jane
i am journal of lost secrets buried too deep for you to reach.
