This. Book. Oof. The entire time I was reading Beyond Time and loving Kade, I also hated that Jayce didn’t get much time. His memories linger, but I wanted his happily ever after too. In Beyond Fate, the author gives us just that.
This is a story of soulmates that meet across lifetimes. Set further into the future, another timeline path for Jayce and Clay, Beyond Fate is part mafia romance, part star-crossed lovers. Author Lee McCormick has written a novella that has plenty of heat, lots of action, and enough romance to warm the coldest hearts. Clay is a government agent. Jayce is the adopted son of a mafia boss. But does that really matter when your heart already knows it’s other half?
I absolutely love this world that the author created. This novella is best read after Beyond Time. While it does not delve any further into the experiments or pulling out past lives, we still see glimpses of them in the dreams and visions the two MCs have. I can’t wait to see where the author takes the story going forward.
