Holy moly. I randomly saw this book mentioned on Facebook, and I thought the premise sounded unique. So good! The story is dark and twisty, an absolute ride from start to finish. The author has taken the story of soul mates and flipped it on its head.
Seth and Jayce are friends who are closer than most, tied together by childhood events and something more. They join in a sleep study for extra cash, but the study turns out to be way outside what they expected. Kade and Clay are enemies bound by a past and feelings neither one of them knows how to express. I don’t want to give too much away. But, these characters are so well written. It’s got spice and plot, action and emotion. Lovers bound across time. Boys with too many red flags to count. I could not put the book down.
Great first book by Author Lee McCormick. I can’t wait for the next one!
