mountain streams feed
into a hungry river where
dusk paints its glow—kawakaari
the surface splattered in
amber and aquamarine
cherry blossoms bloom in quiet rebellion
whispering their confessions
in falling pink petals
swallowed by the current
while flower gardens bloom
flourishing—blooming like a
lavender sunrise along the bank horizon
the ground’s green gown decorated
in lemonade sugar and liquid drops
their soft splashes become
music trickling over settled stones
the bones of nature guiding water’s path
to spill as song into its ocean home
