Kilig

We wove mystery
and melancholy,
dovetails
and daydreams,
got lost in the mountains,
found ourselves
by the sea
We made love to the moon,
let the dawn be our muse,
our hearts tethered
to their magical glow,
to the secrets they hold,
the brilliant mystique
just out of reach
of our wanderlust souls
We chased after something
we didn’t know,
the shine,
the thrill,
that certain something
we just had to
feel

Fernweh

IMG_7198

She chases the messenger

in a sky full of stars,

explores forests

just like the one

etched on her heart

Kismet chaos stains

her curious lips,

and wild dreams linger

on her fingertips

as faraway places

softly call out her name,

whispering of

a sweet madness

that can’t be tamed

She’s hellbent on knowing,

her eyes brightly glowing

while a wondering wanderlust

screams through her veins

She’s lost in the call

of this burning fernweh
