we stand in awe,
the land’s own symphonic, siren song
holding us superficially frozen in place
we swim in the surreal of a holographic lake,
sink into a whisper of wonder that leaves us
weightless – transported – enchanted
everything is connected
we float on a lavender breeze,
admiring the earth’s own symmetry,
rising to pluck wishes from the sky
as if the stars were flowers,
daffodil dreams illuminating
a field of raven black in ephemeral light,
a meadow of wildflowers turned into a starry night,
dawn’s touch yielding to this beauty in the dark
we find our muse within the gloaming,
where even the simple things shine,
where even the shadows have a gleam contained within
